Repeat Prescription

Please request your repeat prescription through our Patient Portal. The first time you use the Portal you will need to register. Just click the green button below. Please note that the GP may decide that you need to be seen prior to to prescription being written. This depends on a variety of things and will differ from patient to patient.

3 Working Days Notice

We require a minimum of 3 working days notice to process a prescription request outside of a consultation. Please offer us as much notice as you can to ensure that you don’t run out of medication.

€20 Charge

(does not apply to medical card holders)

A charge of €20 applies for all private prescriptions without a consultation.

We endeavour to give priority to prescription requests for urgent antibiotics or hospital prescribed medications.

Where necessary patients may be requested to attend their GP when medication or a condition needs to be reviewed.  In such instances the prescription will be deferred until this consultation has taken place.
